BEIA Cercetare will take part in GREEN ENERGY EXPO & ROMENVIROTEC 2026, one of the most important international trade fairs in Romania dedicated to environmental protection technologies and equipment. The event brings together companies, experts, public authorities, and research organisations active in water management, waste management, renewable energy, and circular economy, creating a strong platform for knowledge exchange and strategic partnerships.
A central focus of BEIA Cercetare’s participation is the European Digital Innovation Hub WeH 2.0. The project supports SMEs and public organisations in moving from initial interest in digital tools to structured, reliable deployment. By combining test before invest services, skills development, investment readiness support, and European ecosystem networking, WeH 2.0 contributes to measurable improvements in digital maturity, energy efficiency, and carbon footprint reduction.
In addition to WeH 2.0, BEIA Cercetare promotes a wide portfolio of research and innovation initiatives spanning artificial intelligence, environmental monitoring, advanced materials, smart infrastructure, and climate neutrality. These include MisAIB, AEROMATICS, NANOEMCA, ROMEO, PNTS, OPTIX, PROMISE, ENHANCE Europe, SeaGuard, NetZeroCities, Museion, and Smardy.
Through these projects, BEIA Cercetare actively contributes to the transition toward a sustainable development model by integrating smart technologies, digitalisation, and optimised resource management solutions. Participation in ROMENVIROTEC strengthens the visibility of ongoing research activities, validates their relevance in front of industry and public stakeholders, and creates concrete opportunities for collaboration and large scale implementation.
We look forward to meaningful discussions with organisations committed to accelerating environmental innovation and digital transformation across Europe.
