Intelligent monitoring and prediction system for noise and air quality using AI and Blockchain
The main objective of the project is to develop a platform that integrates IoT technology and the use of ICT in urban
decision-making to develop a set of software tools, supporting the authorities in implementing and evaluating the policies developed. In order to be successful, environmental policies for air pollution and the urban climate must take into account the appropriate models to ensure that the data reach citizens in a transparent and comprehensive manner. To meet these requirements it is necessary to consider the development of better information support (large amounts of data and their spatial representation) for the implementation and quantification of the effects of these policies.
The aim of the project “MisAIB” is to increase the competitiveness of BEIA by assimilating the noise and air quality monitoring system developed by COMOTI and consolidating it in order to obtain an intelligent monitoring system, with a web platform for real-time visualization of real noise levels and air quality, to create the premises for an air quality and noise management built on real data and a web application that allows the population to actively participates in the development of this management system, the monitoring system being made in order to capitalize on the profile market. The project proposal falls within the field of smart specialization “Smart cities”
