BEIA took part in the official launch event of the Romanian Competence Center CHIPS – RO-SMARTSYS, held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 in Bucharest, Romania.
Organized under the coordination of IMT Bucharest and co-financed by the CHIPS Joint Undertaking – Digital Europe Programme, the RO-SMARTSYS Center is set to become a key national hub for research, innovation, and industrial support in the areas of semiconductors, intelligent systems, and robotics.
During the event, which included presentations, official remarks, and a roundtable focused on strategic partnerships, BEIA had the opportunity to showcase the Wallachia eHUB project. The presentation highlighted the project’s key benefits in driving digital innovation, supporting regional development, and fostering collaboration among stakeholders in the smart systems and semiconductor sectors.
